IT'S HERE!

POP UP BLOCKER - If you are having trouble HEARING the stream of 98.7 THE BAY, your computer may be "seeing" the 98.7 THE BAY Tuner as a "POP-UP".

A Pop Up Blocker is installed on most newer computers to prevent "annoying" pop-up messages when you go to selected web-sites. In most cases, you may not even know that your Pop-Up Blocker is activated.

It is suggested that you "reset" or "disable" your Pop Up Blocker to "Allow Pop Up's From This Sight".

To change or disable your Pop Up Blocker:

• Look for your "Pop Up Blocker" setting. In many computers, the setting is located under "TOOLS" on the Tool Bar. When located, your choices will most likely be:
• "Turn Off" the Pop Up Blocker (this should allow the tuner to launch)
• "Always Allow Pop Up From This Site" (this should allow the tuner to launch
• Pop Up Blocker Settings (this will ask if you would like to allow pop-ups from any specific sites. Please "allow" from *.dc1.sonixtream.com

FIREWALL - The last source of "blocking" may be taking place with your companies FIREWALL. This would be a question for your IT department or specialist.

If you are still having problems with your stream, if you would like to tell us your "challenge" we will attempt to get you a solution.

One last "heads up" - Please be aware that "what you hear" on the radio and "what you hear" on the stream will not be "exactly the same" timing wise. The "stream" normally airs up to a few minutes behind the actual on-air broadcast. Make sure you know this if you are participating in any time sensitive contests.
